Method 2: Stationary Base Technique
Hold one side still while twisting the other.
Grasp one side of the jump ring using the wider, flat area of the first pair of pliers, and keep this hand still to anchor the ring.
Use the second pair of pliers to hold the opposite side of the cut, keeping it as close to the opening as possible.
While keeping the first pair of pliers steady, gently twist the second pair forward or backward.
How to close a jump ring/jump ring gap
Method 1: Dual-Twist Technique

Gently twist one side forward and the other backward while applying a slight inward pressure.
Reverse the direction (twist backward and forward) while continuing to push the ends together.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 in small movements until the ends align and click flush together.

Grasp one side of the jump ring using the wider, flat area of the first pair of pliers, and keep this hand still to anchor the ring.

How to knot beading thread onto a jump ring

1. Fold your beading thread in half.
2. Pass one end through the jump ring, roughly centering the jump ring on the thread.
Note: For steps 3–9, work only with the half thread behind the jump ring (the one farther from you).
3. Pass the back thread through the jump ring again.
4. Pull it through until you leave a small loop (about 2 cm in diameter).
5. Wrap it around both the loop and the front thread (the one closer to you).
6. Pull tight.
7. Wrap it around one more time.
8. Pull tight.
9. Pass the thread through the loop.
10. Pull the front thread to tighten the loop.

A simple knot looks like this:
Steps:
1. Pass one end of the thread through the jump ring.
2. Tie a simple knot.
3. Pull tight.
4. It should look like this after tightening.
5. Pass the same end of the thread through the jump ring again.
6. Tie a simple knot and pull it tight.
7. [Optional] Tie another simple knot and pull it tight.
8. It should look like this when finished.
How to melt thread ends using needle
1. Heat the tip of a needle.
2. Touch the heated needle to the thread end to melt it.

Tie a simple knot twice to secure it on the earwire.

Steps:
1. Fold the beading thread in half and loop it over the earwire.
2. Wrap either end of the thread around the earwire one more time.
3. Tie a simple knot and pull tight.
4. Once tied, the first knot should look similar to this on the earwire.
5. Tie another simple knot, and the knot should look similar to this on the earwire once tied.
How to tuck thread tails into a bead hole using a helper thread
Suppose we need to tuck the thread tail into the blue nugget.
1. Fold the helper thread in half and pass the two ends through the bead hole, leaving a loop on the other side.
*Make sure your helper thread has enough length.
2. Thread the tail through the loop.
3. Pull the ends of the helper thread to drag the tail completely inside the bead hole.
4. And you are done :-).
